  • Rev. Tim Barton

    Pastor

Prior to ministry, Tim worked in a family business in North Carolina for eight years while serving his local church as a deacon for four years and a ruling elder for three. He was ordained to the gospel ministry by the Presbyterian Church in America in 1993. In 2003 Tim and Vicki moved from North Carolina to Utah to plant Jordan Presbyterian Church in West Jordan. In 2015 he was called as the Pastor of Grace Church. Tim and Vicki have been married since 1981 and have two grown children and five grandsons.

  • Nick Winder

    Ruling Elder

Nick moved to Utah with his family when he was nine years old. After being raised by Mormon parents, he left the LDS faith during his freshman year in college. After graduating from University, and solely by the grace of God, Nick met his wonderful wife, Taylee, and her Christian family. Through many difficult conversations and after having read the gospels for the first time, his life was radically changed by the indwelling of the Spirit of God. God opened Nick's heart to the gospel and lavished him with grace and mercy, revealing the mystery of Jesus Christ and His gospel. Nick and Taylee have been attending Grace Church since August 2014. They have two beautiful children, Afton (5) and Samuel (2), and a 3rd (Jacob) on the way. Nick and Taylee are excited to be a part of what God is doing in Utah through Grace Church.

  • David Elder

    Ruling Elder

  • Scott Nowlin

    Ruling Elder

Scotty was born again when he was 10 during an altar call at a neighborhood church. While attending Officers' Christian Fellowship bible studies at the U.S. Air Force Academy and after his graduation in 1992, he grew immensely in his knowledge of the eternal truths of the Bible, God's sovereignty, and His saving grace through Jesus Christ alone. In 1993, he married Joelyn Taylor, his high school friend, Academy classmate and sister in Christ. He's served in the Air Force for over 24 years as an aeronautical engineer. The family has lived in New Mexico, Texas, Virginia, the United Kingdom, Colorado, and now Utah. He and Joelyn have four children -- Faith (18), Christina (16), Jonathan (14), and Seth (12). They've been members of Grace Church since 2013.

  • Brett Kleeberger

    Ruling Elder

Brett became a Christian shortly after graduating college and married his lovely wife Hannah not long after that. Brett has been worshipping at Grace since 2003 and has marveled at God's provision for His church in that time. He was ordained as an elder in 2016 and is privileged to serve as the church's Christian Education coordinator. Brett and Hannah enjoy exploring God's creation with their three children.

  • Troy Duran

    Deacon

Troy has lived in Utah his entire life and became a Christian as a teenager when he met a youth pastor in his neighborhood and was called to the family of God. He grew in his faith and understanding of the Gospel since that time. He has served many different roles within the church and enjoys serving others for God's glorification. Troy and his family recently moved back to his hometown in Layton and transferred from Jordan Presbyterian Church to Grace Church where they worship and serve. Troy is married to Cheri Duran and together they have six children.

  • Michael Nelson

    Deacon

Michael was born in Virginia and raised in a Christian home. He met his wife Lana while attending Samford University. He later attended Asbury Seminary and obtained a missionary degree. In March of 2014, he was blessed with a son, Samuel. One year later, He moved with his family to Ogden, Utah. He now manages the Chick-fil-A in Ogden on 12th Street. He and his family became members of Grace in the summer of 2015.

  • Taylee Winder

    Worship Coordinator

Born and raised in Utah, I have been freed from bondage and redeemed by the blood of the Son. I am simply an ordinary woman serving an extraordinary God who has graciously gifted me as a wife, mother and friend, with a voice. I am thankful for the opportunity to serve Grace Church by way of praise and worship. The Lord has been at great work for a great while in how He would equip me for this very season, of which I am deeply grateful and blessed. May He continue to renew my mind and change my heart while inclined to desperately know Him more fully. I pray that your time of worship at Grace Church would be set-apart, lavished in the love and grace of Christ Jesus.

  • Erin Griffin

    Secretary

Erin grew up in a Christian home and has believed in Christ for as long as she can remember. Her upbringing was mostly in the Dallas area. She met her husband, Patrick, at the University of Oklahoma, and they moved to Utah in 2005. Both of their sons, Timothy and Nathaniel, have been born here in Utah. Erin homeschools, tutors, works sound and projection, as well as being church secretary. In her free time, she practices Tae Kwon Do, knits, cross stitches, reads, binges on Netflix, and avoids housework.
