Deacon - Chairman
Greg was born in Brooklyn, NY and was raised in a Non-Denominational Christian home in Virginia. He became a Christian in 1992 and over the years, by God's loving grace, has progressively grown in the faith. He met God's perfect provision for him, Leah, in 2012, and they have been married since 2014. They had their first child in 2016, Noah, and are expecting their second child in early 2018. They moved to Utah in 2016, and have attended Grace Church since that time. In his free time, he enjoys everything Virginia Tech, Yankees, Giants, and Liverpool FC, but most importantly he enjoys time with his family and serving those around him.
Pastoral staff/Ruling Elder
Nick is on our pastoral staff and is currently completing seminary at Reformed Theological Seminary. Once he has completed his degree and ordination requirements with the Northern California Presbytery, Grace Church intends to call him as their ordained minister.
Nick moved to Utah with his family when he was nine years old. After being raised by Mormon parents, he left the religion during his freshman year in college. After graduating from University, Nick met his wife Taylee who had been saved out of the Mormon faith. Through many difficult conversations and after having read the gospels for the first time, his life was radically changed by the indwelling of the Spirit of God. God opened Nick's heart to the gospel and lavished him with grace and mercy, revealing the mystery of Jesus Christ and His gospel.
Nick and Taylee have been attending Grace Church since August 2014. They have four beautiful children and are excited to be a part of what God is doing in Utah through Grace Church.
Ruling Elder - Session Clerk
Scotty was born again when he was 10 during an altar call at a neighborhood church. While attending Officers' Christian Fellowship bible studies at the U.S. Air Force Academy and after his graduation in 1992, he grew immensely in his knowledge of the eternal truths of the Bible, God's sovereignty, and His saving grace through Jesus Christ alone. In 1993, he married Joelyn Taylor, his high school friend, Academy classmate and sister in Christ. He served in the Air Force for over 24 years as an aeronautical engineer, retired, and now serves as a systems engineer in the aerospace and defense industry. The family has lived in New Mexico, Texas, Virginia, the United Kingdom, Colorado, and now Utah. He and Joelyn have four children -- Faith (21), Christina (19), Jonathan (17), and Seth (15). They've been members of Grace Church since 2013
What is corporate worship? What does it mean to be a singing congregation? How does the music we sing reflect the gospel? Is our worship a witness to our changed hearts in Christ? Is God glorified above all? All of these questions and more have been considered by Taylee as she serves our church. Each Sunday she prays you will encouraged and edified by the privilege that is ours to worship our King, Jesus.
Taylee was born and raised in Utah. She is wife to Nick, and mother to Afton, Samuel, Jacob and Henry.
