CelebrationOur weekly worship is a Celebration—as we gather together, we seek to go deep into the presence of God through singing, prayer, the powerful preaching of His Word, and administering the sacraments. In a culture starving for substance, this is the depth our hearts crave. Grace worships God thoughtfully and passionately. Praise Team Led by Pastor Don on vocals and Kathryn Kelley on piano, the team changes with the congregation's talents, often including guitar and strings. Prayer Before and during worship Facility Care Help clean the inside, mow the lawns, do small repairs, or work on landscape items. Our new facility has lots of opportunities to let your light shine! Nursery Care for the very young during the service and allow their parents to worship without distraction. Volunteers to help staff the nursery are always welcome. Snacks Bring your favorite snacks and drinks for fellowship after the worship service. CommunityWe are called to Community—where we foster friendships through small groups, Sunday School, Supper Club, social activities and other informal gatherings. We all desire relationships that are real, transparent, and encouraging—where we can truly be ourselves, and be loved and accepted. Community is also the place where we often find ourselves growing spiritually, learning much more about God, the church, ourselves, and God’s vision for His church. This vision includes ministry to our children and youth. Approximately 80% of those who come to faith in Christ do so before they are eighteen. Grace nurtures its membership on a regular basis, and want to be "salt and light" in our local community. We have several methods to serve each other and the community in place, and it is our desire to build on this foundation and do more. (more) Men of Grace Honest, supportive, transparent relationships; prayer, Bible study, fellowship, and mutual support (more) Mission Utah Leaders of Utah's PCA churches meet regularly for fellowship, accountability, and encouragement (see "About Grace" for more info about the PCA). Compassionwe are called to Compassion—when we extend mercy to our church family and community, where people are hurting and need real “hands and feet type” help. Some of the most effective ministry a church does is right there in the thick of things—it is concrete, tangible and physical: A food pantry, a group of handy men and women that mow and weed a yard, and a community center where ESL (English as a Second Language) is taught, are excellent examples. Grace currently shares time and resources with locals in need by supporting the following ministries: Pregnancy Care Center of Ogden The Center offers supportive option counseling to help women discover alternatives to abortion, as well as post-abortion counseling and abstinence education. We support the Center through volunteering and fundraising efforts. Ogden Rescue Mission The Mission provides shelter for men, women & children. We support the mission financially. Helping Hands Ministry Grace Church has a ministry aimed at helping each other as a family of believers and reaching out to others in need in our community. We have a group of individuals that are willing to periodically lend their time and talents to to others in need around us, whether is be gutters that need to be put up, some house repair, painting, landscaping, etc. Contact Dan Ehrhardt dehrhardt@amnutrition.com CommissionGrace reaches out to its surrounding communities in love and truth. We are called to Commission—outreach and evangelism—the good news of the Gospel to a lost and dying world that can find life and wholeness through Jesus Christ! We know that God’s grace, extended to us through faith in Christ, is the key to health in every single area of our lives. Bridges Training Series   Learn to understand the Mormon culture and help friends discover God's grace. Supper Club Get to know your "pew-mates" and their friends over a meal. Outdoor Club Mountain biking, skiing, running, snow-shoeing, hunting, camping, fishing, rock climbing - anything outdoors! Join others who love God's creation for fun and fellowship. Servant Projects A great way to show the love of Jesus to our community!
